The Hair Color Question:  To Color or Not To Color?

I get that question a lot.  Many of my clients that have thinning issues toil with whether or not they should use color especially when they are using a relaxer, as they know this may increase the amount of damage the hair may sustain, and therefore, increase the thinning.

To Color your hair is a personal decision.  Once you have made the decision to color your gray or to give your hair a fresh look, you should consider the healthiest, safest and least damaging way to do that.

Henna Cream is a temporary coloring and hair treatment in a ready-to-use cream presentation. Practical and easy-to-use it is a natural and organic product made from rare and exotic herbs and fruits of Brazil - Amaznia - and India. This product also colors hair that has become white  with no peroxide heavy metals or ammonia. It treats and conditions due to the action of the natural properties of herbs and fruits namely-Henna Plant that moisturizes and forms a protective layer on each hair strand.

I like it especially because unlike commercial dyes and rinses, henna wraps and coats the hair shaft with the color.  Other color treatments open t he cuticle, which is the protective coating around the hair, to deposit the color.  This process can cause damage and thinning, and usually results in shedding especially if the hair is chemically relaxed.  Surya Henna Cream is a semi-permanent hair coloring that not only covers your gray, but offers deep coloration and deep conditioning for your hair.  Henna creme gives dull, lifeless hair a more polished, rich look.

The cream application needs no mixing and rinses out after about 10-12 shampoos.  You will notice that each time you wash your hair, the gray will become a little more like highlights and it seems to just glisten in the sunlight.  The only issue you might have with the henna creme is that you can't lighten the color of your hair.  With henna you can enhance or darken your color, but you can't go to a lighter shade.  Henna creme is so easy to use.  All you have to do is wash your hair apply the creme, leave on for 45 minutes, and then rinse out. Surya Henna Creme offers you the option of coloring your gray or just giving your hair a fresh healthy look without risking the damage caused by commercial dyes and rinses.  Be especially careful to keep your hair properly moisturized and conditioned with oil rich products to keep it healthy.
